It sould just pop off like a plug in a wine bottle.
try taking off the oil filler cap at the top of the engine...on my '95 turbo 900s that's where it was, the oil stick was attached to the oil filler cap.
how do i fine the oil filler in a 2009 corolla and get a tool to take it off
Unscrew the plastic drain petcock lower drivers' engine side of the radiator and take off the filler cap
Take off the oil-filler cap (the one with a picture of an oil-can) and pour in some 5w/30 grade oil a little at a time, checking the dipstick each time, until the oil reaches the top mark on the dipstick. The twist the filler cap back on!
Pull and twist.Pull and twist.
There is 3 round plastic caps on the top of the cover,1 at the back and 2 at the front. Pop these out with a screwdriver and there is a nut under each one. Take off the nuts, take out the dipstick and take off the oil filler cap and the cover comes off.
The oil FILLER cap is turned about a quarter ( 1/4 ) turn to the left and lifted out.The oil filter is removed by using a special tool to unscrew it from the engine block.
Any good, name brand oil, that has the same weight spec as is on the oil filler cap. it should be 5W20 or 5W30. it is written right on the cap you take off to fill the engine with oil.
You and me both! I never check the oil, but when before going on a long trip I did and it wasn't on the stick - but 3 of us couldn't work out how to get the oil filler cap off! It has 2 pipes attached to the neck/filler cap, but no way of getting the yellow bit off. ANY IDEAS................PLEASE????? Kel I had the same problem. The housing with the yellow top and the two hoses all lifts off together. Try twisting it until it gets loose. It is just a tight housing on the bottom of that group.
all you should have to do is take the distributor cap off, and there it is. answer take the distributor cap off, pull the old rotor off, put the new one on, put the cap back on.
Not necessarily. If the oil filler cap wasn't on tight it could have just vibrated off. If the cap is not on the filler tube it will blow oil out of the tube with a good running engine. I would refill the oil, tighten the cap, clean up the oil spill and try the mower again to see what happens. Chances are everything will be fine.
