To remove a stripped oil filler cap, you can try using a pair of adjustable pliers or channel locks to grip the cap more tightly. If that doesn’t work, apply some penetrating oil around the edges, let it sit for a few minutes, and then attempt to turn it again. Alternatively, you might use a rubber band for added grip or a screw extractor designed for rounded screws. If all else fails, consider drilling a small hole in the cap and using a bolt extractor.
To replace the fuel filler cap on a Ford Fiesta, first ensure the vehicle is turned off. Locate the old cap by opening the fuel door, then twist it counterclockwise to remove it. Take the new cap and align it with the filler neck, twisting it clockwise until it clicks securely in place. Close the fuel door, and you’re done!
It sould just pop off like a plug in a wine bottle.
try taking off the oil filler cap at the top of the engine...on my '95 turbo 900s that's where it was, the oil stick was attached to the oil filler cap.

Take off the oil-filler cap (the one with a picture of an oil-can) and pour in some 5w/30 grade oil a little at a time, checking the dipstick each time, until the oil reaches the top mark on the dipstick. The twist the filler cap back on!
There is 3 round plastic caps on the top of the cover,1 at the back and 2 at the front. Pop these out with a screwdriver and there is a nut under each one. Take off the nuts, take out the dipstick and take off the oil filler cap and the cover comes off.

Any good, name brand oil, that has the same weight spec as is on the oil filler cap. it should be 5W20 or 5W30. it is written right on the cap you take off to fill the engine with oil.
You and me both! I never check the oil, but when before going on a long trip I did and it wasn't on the stick - but 3 of us couldn't work out how to get the oil filler cap off! It has 2 pipes attached to the neck/filler cap, but no way of getting the yellow bit off. ANY IDEAS................PLEASE????? Kel I had the same problem. The housing with the yellow top and the two hoses all lifts off together. Try twisting it until it gets loose. It is just a tight housing on the bottom of that group.
all you should have to do is take the distributor cap off, and there it is. answer take the distributor cap off, pull the old rotor off, put the new one on, put the cap back on.
