Pry up with a pry bar, tap litely with a hammer to and it'll drop off.
pull the spark plug wires out from the valve cover and unscrew the four nuts it will come right off.
Take the valve cover off and scrap the gasket off with a razor. Be carful not to put any gouges in the on either side.
you should only change the gasket if you have to take the valve cover off....... you should only change the gasket if you have to take the valve cover off.......
Take off the valve cover. there is about 8 to 12 bolts. just take it off and take off the old gasket, then clean off old gasket residue with a razor knife, then install the new one and put the cover back on. the bolts dont need to be extremely tight.
take off valve cover throw away old gasket replace old gasket with new put valve cover back on pwn
Your head bolts are located under your valve cover. Take your valve cover off and you will see them. Hope this info. helped.
look om the passengers back side of the valve cover. You need to take off the vortec cover.
take off your valve covers and peel off the gasket you may have to scrape it off with a screwdriver but it wont hurt anything
Take the valve cover off and run a couple of screw drivers through it and twist it out. Or just break it out of there. Most importantly take the valve cover off a lot easier and no chance of dropping plastic in the motor.
take the oil cap off on the valve cover and pour in.
if it's a 5s-fe engine(most of the time it dosent matter what kind of engine) then take a 30 mm socket to the top of spark plug wholes and take those off(there should be two rings when you take that top ring off) then all ya do is take any hoses off the valve cover, pull the valve cover, then take a razor blade to the gasket. once you have the valve cover gasket nice and clean you just put a new one on.
take off the valve cover put on new gasket then put cover back on you if you cant figure it out you should be hit in the head with a tact hammer.
