Okay well Unless the black hair dye was a semi or a wash in wash out you wont be able to get it out of your hair.
Basically any hairdresser would put a good semi permanat on it which would lift the colour making your black her brown!
So go to your hair dresser but makesure its a good one so you can get the exact colour you want!

What I did was use Loreal HIghcolor Magenta I got it at Sallys. Since I have dark hair, but if you want the red bright hair you HAVE to bleach it-_-... Then put the dye, but for some reason when I dyed it it came out bright pink I'm guessing since I've never bleached it before. When I redyed it again it came out like I wanted it to:)))
Pros--> you have awesome red hair that people would just look at you with their jaws dropped, envy, feeling noticed, and different in a good way.
Cons-->Cant wear certain colors, have to redye it ever month or less depends how you take care of your hair, you cant wash your hair that much or the dye will bleed out, have to wash it with cold water not super cold, cant condition the top...TIP:--if your like hot showers STOP if you want this hair for a while please use mild warm/cold water and get in get out of the shower as soon as you can.
But other than the cons top the pros; I personal loved my red hair it was worth it to me the attention of feeling different than everyone else was awesome hope this helped.:)

∙ 13y agoIt will probably take some time. Go to a store and buy some vinegar and rinse your hair with it for a week or two. Then you should have most of the dye out and you can color it again.
