if the blazer is 4x4 and the s-10 has a 4.3 engine then the answer is yes
More than likely the bearing is bad. Take it out and see if it is hard to turn. If so, the bearings are bad and you will need to replace the distributor.
behind the engine you'll see a black circle with 7 plugs coming out of it. that is the distributor cap. take the cap off and you'll see the rotor.
Take the distributor cap off and it will be bolted with 2 SMALL bolts to the distributor plate. It will have 2 electrical connectors pluged into it. Remove the rotor button and it will be easy to get to.

take number 1 spark plug out and bring that piston to top dead center. Then take distributor cap off. Locate which tower the rotor is pointing to on the cap. That will be the number 1 plug wire. Then just follow the firing order. The rotor should turn clockwise.
Only the timing advance is automated. The car has no way to automatically determine the base timing. You must re-install the distributor exactly as it was before. If the engine has been rotated, you will have to go through the whole procedure to line everything up. Time to take a peek into the manual!
I presume it is tilt wheeel and this is a hard thing as you have to take the column apart and tighten screws in the joint. I suggest taking it to a trim shop.
