Just walk up to her and say hi how are you for a start. It might seem strange to just talk to someone like that but it's really not. Ask her name, tell her yours, just small talk a bit.

Herself but avoid really personal topics. Ask about her interests and talk about that, but don't lie and pretend that you know more about it or are more interested in it than you are. If you don't know stuff, she can talk to you about them (but don't play dumb!)
