Start with a chair and your dog on a down. If the chair is the correct height, he will not be able to stand under it. If you have a very small dog, find something else that is just a little higher than your dog when he is lying down to work with. Lure his nose under the chair with a treat. Let him nibble the treat but do not let him have the whole thing. Say, "crawl," and slowly draw the treat forward. He will have to crawl forward in order to keep nibbling the treat. When he'll willingly crawl under the chair for a treat without being lured anymore, you can stop using the chair. If he forgets to crawl, simply go back to using the chair a few more times to remind him what "crawl" means.

∙ 13y agoYou could take him/her to local agility training but this will cost money. there is fun agility classes and competitive classes so why not give them a try.
i started doing agility for fun with my dog then found out he had the potential to go far so we switched to competitive agility, why not find out where you will end up!!!
If you prefer to do it at home i recommend that you get an agility training book, this will tell you how to train your dog if so you will have to buy the equipment which will most likely cost more!
however if you want to show and compete in agility, i would get yourself into an competitive agility training class where you can learn more about showing and will be around experienced trainers. it will also help if you get your own set so that you can practice agility at home.
if you want to have fun with your dog then agility is the one for you!
