Sit down ---stroke down wards on the dogs forhead, or neck

Lie down ---after sitting, stroke down on forhead again

Play dead/lay on side--once lying down, stroke sideways.

Roll Over --once playing dead, stroke sideways again

Paw/hand shake ((Standing, Sitting, Laying)) lift up a paw. Can use either paw, and can be in either sitting, standing, or lying position.

Beg --make them stand up, then stroke upwards from nose to forhead. You're dog has to be very loyal to you, and not all actually do this.

Jump-- when they wave their buts in the air, press the upper corner, and they'll either jump or go away.

Spin-- grap a tail and wag it a bit, they'll sneeze and try to catch their tail. Can be done left or right.

Backflip: Get them to sit, then tell them to jump. They'll need to be loyal, well fed/watered to do this.

Frontflip Get them to roll over and tell them to jump. They'll need to be loyal and well fed/watered

Break-Dance--get them to roll over, then spin. Loyalty and good care needed

Stand--get them to beg, then lift their paw real high, and they'll stand on two legs!

Bunny Hop-- get them to stand, then jump.

Handstand-- get them to lay down, then say beg. Loyalty and good care needed.

Dance/ballerina---get them to beg, then spin.

Sneeze: Press their noses.

'Moon': you can't get them into this position, but when they are playfull, they'll wag their butts at you

'play'--same as 'Moon', but with their butts away

Sing/speak: Get a piano, and click the camera button, hold one note, or play a meoldy. A little light icon would apear.

'High Five': get them to sit, then grab a paw and lift it very high.

'Kick'--when they turn around, press their hind paw. ((Most hate this!)

'upside down superman'--when they roll over, grab a paw and drag it out.((most will hate this!))

'grab'-- some dogs grab the pull rope in a way you can teach them.

squirm--roll over, then pat their stomach. ((Most will hate this

Tricks you need to watch them do: ((You can't get them to do it yourself, and you have to be in the overview))

shake: the dog will shake their whole body. Some will do this if you press their nose.

'Wave'--the dog will stand on two legs and wave their paws at another

''Run off' --dog will be running away or towards another dog.

''attack''---when dog is running at another, and attacking them.

''bite'' --when they are laying on the other dog and chewing the ears.

''howl''--when a police siren is heard, they'll howl, or when another dog is heard.

''dig''--they'll be digging

''sniff''--usually right before digging they'll sniff the ground

''greet''-- when they sniff another dog's nose.

Here are the tricks and how to do them. Sit - When your dog is standing up facing front touch his head and pull toward the bottom of the screen. Shake - When your dog is sitting touch one of your dogs front paws and pull up. Lie Down - When your dog is sitting touch his head and pull down to the bottom of the screen. Roll Over - When your dog is sitting touch his head and pull to either side. He should look like he is lying down but will be lying on his side. Then slide up his belly and get him to roll on his back. Spin - When your dog is facing with his tail to you, take his tail and pull it to one side. Your dog will run in circles. Jump - When your dog is shaking its rear tap the air above him and he should jump. Beg - (This is for mature dogs only) When your dog is standing up touch its belly and slide up his neck to get him to stand on his rear legs. (If your dog is not mature enough it will do something that looks similar but it will not be beg. It should be able to stay in the beg position for a pretty long time.) For all tricks when your dog does the trick in the top right corner there will be what is called a training icon. When you touch it there will be a lightbulb over your dogs head. When it is lighting up you speak into the microphone and say the command. (sit - sit, shake - shake and so on.) If your dog understands what you said he will bark and there will be a light over his head. If you keep on repeating this then your dog will finally learn the trick and when you say the command he will do the trick. If you need visual guidance go to supplies, then care, then scroll to the bottom and get to Dog Training Book. All the tricks are listed there. You have your basic tricks: * Sit: Pet your dog then slide the stylus (pen) down * Down: Sit, then repeat the process from 'sit' * Roll Over: Down, pet your dog then slide the stylus either left or right * Paw: Sit, use the stylus to raise your dog's paw * Spin: Use the stylus to grab your dog's tail until (s)he chases it * Beg: Slide the stylus from your dog's chest to the top of the screen * Jump: Wait until your dog waves his butt then tap the stylus above his head Then there are your intermediate tricks: * Sneeze: Tap your dog's nose with the stylus * Shake: Wait until your dog waves his butt (that's the trick) Then we have your advanced tricks: * Flip: Sit and Jump combination * Handstand: Down and Beg combination * Turn: Beg and Spin combination * Dance: Beg and Paw combination * Hop: Dance and Jump combination * Breakdance: Roll Over and Spin combination Finally there are the 'other' tricks: * Back Paw: When your dog is facing away from you, raise his back paw * Howl: Wait until your dog howls at a passing vehicle If you need more information on tricks and how to perform them, Google search 'Nintendogs Trick List' and it should come up with something.

beg,handstand,backflip,and sing

SmartyPant4431:

Beg is not really an advanced trick because an advanced trick uses two basic tricks together to make a totally different trick. More examples on advanced tricks would be Dance, Bunny Hop, Backflip, and Handstand

The advanced tricks are:

High five

backflip

handstand

sneeze

kick

breakdance

This is how to do

high five: Tell your dog to sit, then touch it's paw and slide it up until you dog is standing halfway up. Then quickly press the light bulb and teach it high five.

backflip: Tell your dog to Sit, then immediately Jump. If you command the jump quickly enough, then the dog should do a backflip from its sitting position.

handstand: Have your dog Lie Down, then tell it to Beg. If done correctly, it'll move its rear feet up into the air and wind up standing on its front legs!

sneeze: When your dog comes, quickly touch your dog's nose and it will sneeze. Then quickly press the lightbulb and teach it sneeze.

kick: when your dog comes and turns around with it's back legs, touch one of it's back legs and it will kick. Then quickly press the lightbulb and teach it kick.

breakdance: Similar to dance, but with a twist. Instead of Begging, you need your dog in the Roll Over position here. When it's on its back, tell it to Spin and it should do the electric boogaloo.
