You shouldn't never have to tell a girl that you want to kiss her; it needs to be natural and both of you should know when the timing is right. If you say lets kiss when you two are that close yet she will feel uncomfortable and never kiss you again. MOST LIKELY

That being said, it's hard to know what to look for if you recently started dating or still lack confidence. Girls are not terribly subtle about letting you know they are interested in you -- look for standard tics like twirling hair, glancing down when she laughs, fingernail biting and other signs of nervousness. Girls also stare at guys they are interested in, trying to make eye contact. If you see signs like these, chances are she'll be receptive to your advances.

To let her know you're interested, make strong eye contact when you talk to her, even if you're just asking her what she wants to drink. Touch her shoulder or arm during conversation and see how she responds.

If everything looks good and you want to try for a kiss, take her somewhere with few distractions and focus all your attention on her. Wait for a pause in the conversation and softly touch her face. If she turns away, back off a bit and try again later. If she doesn't turn away, lean in for the kiss. If she looks down, lift her chin gently and kiss her; girls love this (thank Hollywood).

Try softly kissing her on the nape of the neck (that's the back of the neck, just below the hairline) and along the collarbone, if her top allows this. When kissing on the mouth, hold her firmly to you, with one hand on the small of her back and one hand on the back of her head or side of her face. Aim for a firm grip, not a death-grip ... she's not going to try and suddenly make a break for it. You can also hold onto her hips, her waist or her shoulders -- don't go for the butt just yet. Be aware of her as you're kissing. If she starts to pull away, give her a little slack; she may just be developing a crick in the neck and want to move into a more comfortable position.

And don't forget to come up for air once in awhile. Gaze into her eyes, stroke her face, let her give you a shy half-smile -- then go back to kissing her.

You really shouldn't tell the girl you want to kiss her because that may ruin the mood. Usually girls like it when the guy just kisses her at the right time, and at the right place. you may bring it up suddley such as saying do you like things out of the ordinary and if she says yes she wants you to kiss her randomly such as right then. But, if she says no she wants it at the perfect time and place.

I am a girl and personally i would much rather just have the guy kiss me, it makes it really nice and spontaneous, if your worried about her not wanting to kiss you then make sure she knows before hand that you are planning to kiss by renting a movie and putting your arm around her .also if she wants to kiss you back she might have her head tilted up towards you the whole time so you have an easyy entry

Suggestion

How about holding her and kissing her on the cheek and then perhaps on the neck? Telling her first that you want to kiss her is likely to make things unnecessarily complicated. She probably knows already that you want to kiss her. :)

personally i think that the best way to get a girl to kiss you is to get her on her own, make sure you have already had mature contact (clothed touching) then complement her lean forwards half way and if she makes no attempt to stop you kissing her then do it.
