Windsucking, pawing the ground and rubbing their noses on things are all indacations that your horse is bored and it can become seriously dangerous if you don't start taking your horse out for rides everyday the consiquences are very serious.
If a horse is bored he may be hanging his head, not really paying attention to anything. He might be resting one of his hooves on its tip, but that can mean he's relaxed. To me there is always a certain dullness in their eyes that tells you they want to get out and go for a long ride.
If a horse is really bored, he may develop bad habits that will tell you he's bored out of his brain. Wind sucking, weaving, self-mutilation (D:) or crib-biting are called vices, and mean that you horse is not getting enough exercise, is being poorly kept and confinement. Vices can lead to serious problems in a horses legs, teeth and some vices are similar addictions.
To avoid problems, try to keep a horse entertained. Take him out often, for rides, or even just a walk. Maybe buy a few toys to put in his stall. I'm kinda going off the question now... Better stop :)
If a horse is bored it will windsuck, start pawing the floor, and will chew wood.
When a horse is bored, most of the time they just stand and look bored. If you are riding at the time, they may try and nap, or do what they want for fun. If the horse is tied up, they may try and bite the rope/string or look around at what is happening. They are like us. They will just try to find something to do. Sometimes it can become frustrating! Lol.
When a horse is bored, it paws the ground, bites the wood off the stable and horses around!
a horse who is bored will sometimes chew on a wooden fence. or eat dung (i know it's discusting but they do)

yes when they are bored
Horse do many things when they're bored. They will sometimes crib or even weave. Thes can all become bad habits, don't let them start.
Signs wich tell you if you horse is bored are.... crib biting(biting their stable door, fence, ect pacing(up and down in their field or stable) weaving(moving their head from side to side)
Either that or it is aggravated.
When horses are bored there are several behaviors they can exibit. Some horses pace constantly in their stall or in the paddock. Some stamp their feet or paw the ground. They will also chew on things like fencing or stall boards. If a horse is extremely bored it may crib. Cribbing is when the horse bites onto something such as a stall board or a section of fencing and sucks in air. It will do this over and over for hours. If a horse is cribbing it is a sign of extreme bordom and is a dangerous behavior to the horses health as it can lead to colic and gas issues. It is also a contagious behavior which other bored horses can learn. Is it best to not stable a cribber where other horses can observe the behavior.
