An easy way to tell if a pack of Pokemon cards contains a full art card is to open it.
I've tried a bunch of packs and I've learned that Scrafty and Excadrill packs are bast because in a Scrafty pack I pulled a Full art Zekrom and a full art Virizion and in the Excadrill pack I got a Cobalion,Durant, and a really strong Simisear. Hope it helps!

You Don't. Plain and simple, the idea behind the packs is that you have no idea what is inside it. Some people have the idea that there are codes on the packs that tell them what is actually inside, but the truth is that's only on certain blind bags of lesser quality, and was never a feature on any TCG. even in the beginning days of Magic the Gathering, and certainly not now, there are no codes for telling what is inside a pack. Your best bet for getting a full art? The secondary market. if you want the rare you gotta pay for it. That's either pay it to the company by buying lots of packs, or pay it to the lucky few who got it and are willing to share for the right price.

Open the pack. :) jk, (though technically it works xD ) Some people scale. I have a scale but don't weigh packs until after I open them out of curiosity. I've only weighed next destinies cards, but holo's (normal ones) weigh more than anything, with Full Arts and Shiny Pokemon weighing slightly less. If you're weighing packs in store, you should get a few piles. The heaviest should be holo's with the second heaviest being the full arts. There's a butt-ton of vids on YouTube about the specific weights. Another method I've heard of is if they're not in blisters, to bend them slightly (in a way that not permanent) and if they resist bending more than I think they're holo. Again I don't do this so YouTube is a good spot to check out. I know both are kinda vague but I thought I'd try to steer you in the right direction.
