How do you know if your boyfriend is still attracted to the person he used to love?

Well this is a tough question. Good men do not give up on the one they love easily.

The question you should ask yourself is does your boyfriend love you more than his ex? Is he a dedicated man?

Men want to be needed, loved and to experience happiness and security in a serious relationship. If your man loves you he will want to be by your side and in contact with you all the time. He will invite you to events he goes to because he does not want to do things without you.

Think about what kind of relationship you want and compare that to what kind of relationship you have with your boyfriend. There are many different levels of a relationship, and if the two people are not on the same level then the relationship will not work, causing either the man or the woman to stray.

If your boyfriend still contacts his ex without you by his side, then he is not as committed to your relationship. If he contacts her in front of you, then do not get mad at him and cause relationship stress, but know in your heart he cares and loves you enough not to hide having to talk to the ex.

Just keep your eyes open to obvious signs. Do not let your heart rule your head.

From my own experience I would trust my gut instinct. It's difficult when you're inside the relationship and easy to question your own judgment as to whether you're reading too much into things and then there's the fact you don't want to believe what you might think is true.

My (now) ex boyfriend kept a lot of contact with his ex whilst we were together but said he had no feelings for her in that way any more. When I felt it may be otherwise he made me feel like I was being oversensitive etc and convinced me he was just being friendly as we all had friends in common. I could accept that to a degree and decided the best way to react was to be 'cool' about it and trust him. My gut told me he still liked her attention which I put down to his ego as he told me he felt nothing but really I used to feel he was sometimes using it to play mind games with me and it made me very unsure of myself.

After we split they got back together and are now married. Looking back I should have got out of that relationship fast but was with him for 3 years. Based on that I would just say that if you're with someone but feel insecure and suspect they're still in love with their ex and you still don't feel confident and reassured deep down, the relationship just isn't right regardless. Thta's just my learning experience though so tell them how you feel, see what gives and guage it on how you then feel.

Well.....you see he will talk about her a lot or he will seem to always glance or stare at her he may sometimes seem to ignore you and only notice her other than that that's pretty much it and if it turns out that he does indeed still like her well then 1 he an't for ya 2 your better off without him 3 call me n I'll take him down for ya n teach him how much bett he would be with you and what he gonna miss if he deches ya ;)

Really, what's changed. Our outer appearance may change as we age, but our inner selves don't changed. Part of a good relationship is COMMUNICATION and that means having a partner that really cares what you feel and helps you through your fears and anxiety and in turn you are there for him. Go to the horse's mouth and simply ask your boyfriend if he still is in love with you as much as he was before. I think you will be pleasantly surprised! We all change to a degree because most of us mature and grow with knowledge so we can never remain exactly as we were when in our mid to late teens. Love is so much better than attraction. You can have a million people attracted to you but in the end it doesn't count for a cent but love..having someone's love can't be bought or sold. What I am trying to say is don't doubt it. I am sure he is still attracted to you and I am sure he still loves you. Is he with you? That's your answer.
