Well it depends on the mood of the cat. My family in over the years I've being alive about more than half of them likes me. One is I do not harm the cat in any shape or harm. Two gently I pet the cat and three the cat will start to purr, purring is a sign of affection or enjoyment of the cat to the person. One of the cats i own loves to follow me everywhere and this might be a sign the cat likes you. If the cat gets angry its anger will go away in a few hours its a typical cat in a daily life.
If it likes you, it might:
It bangs it's head against you. This is called 'bunting'. They also enjoy slobbering on you whilst they purr and this is also a good sign. Females will often stick their bums in your face which is very good of them. They also enjoy crapping in your boots, not the cheap twenty quid ones though, only the nice expensive Firetrap jobs. Should you awake one day and put your foot in a shoe filled to the brim with fishy cat poo, your delight will be unbridled.
If your cat is purring, then that would mean it likes what you are doing. However, if your cat is lashing it's tail, it's not a good sign. If your cat is lashing its tail, it may be
annoyed. If you are talking about if the cat likes his/her toys or food, then you tell by their reactions to it. If it is a toy they don't care for, they will ignore it. If you're being pushy, they'll just walk away. If they don't like their food they might not eat until they are very hungry. Ask your vet for good brands of cat food.
When a dog likes you, it will usually get excited when you're around. It might even roll over onto its stomach so you can pet it (in addition to showing affection, this is also a sign of subordination, which shows that the dog knows you're the boss). It may jump up on you or lick your face.
In general, cats are quite a bit more wary of people than dogs. Each cat has a different level of interaction with a person it will tolerate, but if you haven't met the cat before, it's a good sign if it doesn't run away from you when you approach it. Cats that are especially friendly will rub against your legs and allow themselves to be petted. Kittens are usually more and playful friendly than older cats.
It shouldn't always bite you... / (new answer) i have four cats that live outside and the way i can tell they love me is when i feed them and they rub up against me and want me to pet them. (well that's how i can tell)
You will know if your cat likes you if he likes being around you such as sleeping with you or on your bed. Also if they lick you and purr when you are around.
It constantly follows you and jumps into your lap when you sit down.
I can tell that my cat likes another cat when she cleans the other cat! Another way is if they play what I call "chase" with each other and they basically chase each other around the house.
The basic test is, does the cat seek out your company, or does it avoid you.
If you really want your cat to eat it then wrap the grass in something it likes to eat. Cheese usually works.
Everybody likes him I know I do to he is a fine something.
Get her something that you know she likes. Listen to what she talks about and eventually she will mention something that she likes, or is interested in.
Not sure how you expect someone to magically know something.
A cat will eat when he is hungry. If he is not eating, and he is an outdoor cat, almost certainly he is mooching off the neighbours, who possibly are feeding him something he likes better than what you are offering.
if she talks to you and touches you on the leg or something like that. then that means she likes you.
You will know if he likes you back when he does something to get your attention. He will start talkin to you more wanting to know how your day went, how you are doing etc.
He doesn't,if you did your home work you would know that he likes dogs.
If he's doing or watching something he likes and he looks at you more then five times he likes you.
well make her know you. For Ex talk to her or do something she likes.
You know she likes you if: you ask her to go somewhere or do something with you and she says yes it means she's happy to spend time with you.
It means it likes you, or wants something. It is generally thought purring is a sign of contentment, or relaxation.
