As far as I know you can not get a subaru legacy sti from the factory bu you could get an sti engine and put it in a legacy. That is the only way that I know of.
when sti preliminary exam going to be held?
The features available for a Subaru STI are not much different when compared to the WRX trim. The major differences between the two model trims is that the STI has more external body components (i.e. a bigger rear spoiler) and the STI has a more powerful turbocharged engine compared to the WRX.

Every engine is hand made so it varies. The usual amount is 560hp.
Not for fitment issues but the WRX tranny is considerably weaker than the STi tranny and the extra power from the STi engine stands a good chance of causing a failure in the WRX tranny (especially the weak 2nd gear).
The way the EJ engines are designed, and the engine compartment of the STI itself, is specifically suited to fit one turbo. But, anything is possible with custom fabrication. Doing something like twin turboing an STI though would cost too much money, you're looking at over $20k. It would be a much better choice to simply put a larger turbo on. Less money, more simplicity, more reliable, easier to work with, probably faster as well.

STI stands for Subaru Tecnica International. For years the acronym was STi but then it was changed to all caps, STI. In addition to supplying racing engines for Subaru rally cars, STI markets performance parts for use in many Subaru vehicles. See link below for STI HQ.
