If you want an honest answer, I'll tell you. I'm a sixth grade girl, so I've had experience with the difference. Girls who like you sometimes have different ways of showing it. Shy crushes, (like some people I know,) like boys in discreet ways. The shy crush is sort of hard to tell. Shy crushes may sometimes avoid talking to the guy they like, or stammer when they do talk to them. The outgoing crush is much easier to see. The girl will always have an excuse to talk to you or hang out with you. Then there are the girls who don't have a crush at all. They are usually pretty cool about hanging out with guys, and can be really nice to hang out with. I've met some girls with seriously obbsessive crushes, and believe me, a girl without a crush is sometimes better than one with one. If you aren't past sixth grade and you hang out with some girls a lot, don't worry, odds are, they'll probably end up liking you within less than half a year. ;)
