You can take it down to a shop and get it tested, but if you can not afford that, you can take the negative battery cable off of the battery while the vehicle is running. If the vehicle dies, you may have a bad alternator.

Its going to be the same way you can tell if any other motor is going out. Parts start breaking what seems to be at the same time. Or maybe you can hear a knock or tapping.

The 1996 Nissan Maxima air conditioning system has a capacity of 5.4 pounds of Freon. A recharge kit will come with a gauge that will tell you when the system is full.

Read the side of your tire. It will tell you on there.

Yes, but we can not tell you how to do this as this would be illegal if the car was not yours.

Get a reading on the alignment machine. Caster reading

go to autozone.com and enter your 94 Nissan info, engine size ,2wd or 4wd,then look up alternator, then to the right of screen look up repair guide,it will tell you what you need to know to replace your alternator, good luck.

is there blue smoke coming out of your exhaust? if there is then there is probably oil leaking into the cylinders.

call your local Nissan dealership they should be able to tell you

go to auto zone.com,enter vehicle info and look up alternator and click on repair guide to right of screen and it will show and tell you how.

I don't know the excact answer off hand but I can tell you that any auto parts store or Nissan dealership will have that info. The spark plugs I run are NGK PFR6B - 11. That's what I use in my 95 Maxima and I have liked these best out of any that I have ever tried.

I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima GLE and the standard tire is a P215/55R17. incase you have a different model you can put your information in here and it will tell you what tires you can use. http://www.goodyear.ca/goodyeartireselectorca/index.jsp Good luck.

you should read the owner's manual to get the right kind of oil. If yopu don't have one let me know and I'll tell you.

I hate to tell you this but I just paid $3,500 at the Nissan dealer for head gasket replacment.

ohm it out at the connector on the right side of the engine. if it is no continuity it is bad. it has very high ohms though so you need a good meter.

If your vehicle has a voltometer, the power will be low. If not, you can usually tell by dimming of the headlights or other electrical systems

go to auto zone, com, enter your vehicle year, make, model and engine size, then look up alternator, then to right of screen, click on repair guide and it will show and tell you what you need to do.

The only suggestion is to purchase the owner's manual from eBay which will tell you how to do the codes, but you have to go to Nissan dealer to get the Fixed CODE NUMBER PLATE which will be used to reset the new code for the car.....
