If he is the type that will go mad, then you need to take it very slow, sit him down and tell him that you have made some mistakes and you want to come clean so you can progress in the relationship. Tell him how much you love him, but you would rather not be with him but know you have been honest than stay with him knowing you have lied. Respect his response, he may not want to be with you anymore, or he may need some time. He will be upset, and you need to understand this.
