How do you tell your parents your dating an older man?

If they say no just smile & tell them, "I know you love me & that's why you don't want me fooling around, but I really love him/her, so please let me date him/her." If he or she is really someone you should be with, your parents will know & so will your heart.

This depends on how old you are. If you are 13 to 15 you will not have an easy way to tell them. If you are anywhere from sixteen to seventeen, then just tell them there is not a big age difference. Also, I hate to ask, but are you a guy or a girl? If you are a guy chances are they will not care. If you are a girl, they will probably give you a lecture before letting you date him. Well this one is a tough one. It really depends though ( the gap between you guys ) . Also if your parents have a gap between them then the gap between you and the guy shouldn't be all that bad. Then let them maybe get to know him first before you break it to them and let them see what type of guy he really is. Later on after they get to see the good in him lay the age of him on them.
