I figured this same thing out by moving the coil pack around. Leave the plugs in place and try it on different cylinders to see if you get spark. I had been fighting to solve my issue, and turns out it was a $50 fix to replace a bad coil pack that misfired on three different cylinders.

Hi they are under the coil packs. you have to remove the coil packs before you can gain access to them! the coil packs are located between the pleniums on top of the engine. hope that's of some help.
I don't think it has one. There is a power transistor unit that connects to the coil packs.

There are none. Each spark plug has a coil pack attached to it. The coils packs can be seen mounted on the valve covers (three each side, a small grey block held to the valve cover with a 10mm bolt). The spark plugs are deep in the head, under the coil packs. and cannot be seen with the coil packs in place.
