IAC sits on the top of the motor.
no have , per wiring diagram. There is no IAC motor for this engine and I suspect you have an error code
A bad IAC (Idle air control valve) or a vacuum leak or both.
On top of the intake in front of the throttle control. it has a two wire plug going into it.
ok its on ur breather tube its the only one that should be on there
Sounds like the IAC sensor to me. (Idle Air Control) You can test it by checking resistance across the terminals. If no resistance, unit is bad. New one costs about $40, easy to install. Just 3 bolts, a gasket, and re-attach the plug. Located on the throttle body.

could be a number of things first tap on your mass air flow sensor while it is idling and if it lines out change it. or it could be your IAC (intake air control)
IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IAC)Definition: An electrically-operated valve which allows air to bypass the throttle plate in a fuel injected engine to regulate engine idle speed.IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IAC)The (IAC) is located under the Triton Plastic cover in the middle of the engine compartment. Very easy to replace. There are two bolts and one plug.It should only take you around 10 or 15 minutes to change. Buy it new; it doesn't even pay to clean it. It works half the times. But it will go bad eventually…
Its on the back of the throttle body.
To test idle contol on a1997 F250, ensure that the "check engine" light is on, disconnect the IAC valve, and turn the ignition, you can then turn off the ignition and reconnect the IAC valve.
Between 650 rpm and 750 rpm, depending on the year, engine load percentage, A/C on or off, & electrical load. Another factor is type of IAC. (idle air control valve) Best way to check proper idle is to monitor IAC function with a scan tool. Reading should be aound 35%. If IAC is lower, but idle is higher, you probably have a vacuum leak.
