A Polaris Sportsman 800 can be bought at a local car dealership near you. Whether you want to rent it or buy it, they will allow you to test drive this amazing car.

How do you test the 11KV HT cables?

The test equipment used to test high voltage cables is a hi-pot test where a high DC voltage is a applied to the cable. This voltage can be from 150% to 200% of the working voltage of the cable.See related links below.

Is there a simple way to test the alternator on a yardman riding lawnmower with Kohler 16 HPengine?

Testing Alternator Output on a Riding Mower EngineI do it with a handheld VOM [Volt-Ohm Meter]:Plug the red test lead into the Positive [+] jack in the meter.Plug the black test lead into the Negative [--] jack in the meter.Set the VOM mode switch [usually a "rotary" type of switch] to the 50 Volt DC [Direct Current] mode/scale.Place the meter next to the battery so you can read it while holding the test lead probe points to the battery Positive and Negative terminals.Touch and hold the red Positive probe to the Positive terminal on the battery. While holding the red lead in contact with the Positive terminal, touch the black Negative test probe to the Negative terminal of the battery. While holding the probes in good, firm contact with the battery terminals, observe the meter readout or display to determine the voltage in the battery.Either remember, or record that voltage reading. Then, with the blade disengaged and the transmission in neutral , AND the parking brake set, start the engine, and set the throttle to wide open. Now repeat the voltage test of the battery again. If the magneto/alternator is working, the voltage indicated on the VOM should be greater than the battery voltage without the engine running. If the magneto/alternator is working properly, the voltage indicated should be at least 12 1/2 volts, and not exceed 16 volts.

Does a regulator make a dirt bike not crank?

No--a voltage regulator would prevent a battery charging. Your dirtbike most likely has a magneto, feeding a coil or spark exciter. Test park by pulling spark plug, reinserting plug into plug wire, grounding electrode on motor head, and turning over engine. You should get a "blue," audible spark. A weak yellow spark indicates a bad coil; no spark is usually a failed magneto--quite often the shear-pin has been sheared, and the magneto is now out of timing. All of these fixes are pretty easy, a new coil being the most expensive.

What is power frequency withstand voltage test?

A test done on a transformer. The voltage at the power frequency is ramped up to verify the transformer is capable of handling the stresses due to switching and natural phenomena (lighting strikes).Withstand Voltage:The voltage which has to be applied to a test object under specified conditions in a "withstand test" is called the "withstand voltage".

Why open circuit test is performed on low voltage side?

generally open circuit test is performed on the low voltage side.....not on high voltage side.... becuase on low voltage side, we can apply that low voltage very easily ( i.e with a less amount of source is required)... whereas on high voltage side, we need a large power source in order to apply full voltage... in short circuit test, we will test on high voltage side by keeping Low voltage side being short circuit.because high voltage side needs less current source than low voltage side....

Define rated impulse voltage?

Simply, the voltage which is withstand by the test object as an impulse is called as rated impulse voltage.
