To text someone from Yahoo Messenger you firstly need someone to get their account open, when they are ready there will be a rectangular box flashing above and it will say who wants to chat with you. Then you click on the rectangular box and there will be a big box shown to type whatever you want. After you have typed in your message press "Enter" and your conversation will be shown above and your friend or whatever will receive this and they will do the same thing to you as well.
