I had some trouble tying this bracelet too, but I found out later on that vanessa Anne Hudgens and Zac Efron wore them so I just looked up pictures of them wearing it. Here are some helpful photos:

If these still don't help you, just search: "Vanessa Anne Hudgens fansite" or "Zac Efron fansite". They should have galleries on the sites and look for candids in late 2007 (October-December) you'll see some picture of them.
If this STILL doesn't work, just go to a Lucky Brand Jeans store and ask for help.
