How to replace glass only on 2003 Honda CRV Passenger side mirror
To tighten a loose side view mirror on a 2002 F150, take out the old screw and screw in a slightly larger one. It is also possible to tighten the mirror by using plumber's tape around the original screw.
if i assume correctly your talking about the mirror itself and not the part that connects to the vehicle. If its the mirror look underneath next to the rubber part (bendie) you should see two screws on either side. Take a Phillip screwdriver and tighten it to the desired torque. Dont tighten too much tho as you could damage. Personally i have mine pretty tight so the wind doesnt have too much play on them.
Cannot be tighten, replace the mirror assy..

You can repair a bad ding in your passenger side mirror casing by replacing the passenger side mirror casing. An auto body repair expert can usually repair the original mirror casing, but it will be more expensive than buying the new casing.
take off the inside panel and tighten the mirror. I did it and it is easy once you get the panel off which is not so easy.
