From first principles I did my Daihatsu Move:

1) Deactivated automatic advance as indicated by sticker under bonnet lid. Used a bent metal paper clip.

2) Found timing "mark". This was under a rubber bung in the cambelt cover near the top. It gave a view of the main gear from the side which had a series of large holes to reduce the gears weight. However there was one distinctly smaller hole drilled as well. When the piston 1 spark plug was removed and I could see the piston was near top dead center the small hole lined up with the hole in the cam cover indicating this was the "mark". With the timing light triggered by piston one I set this hole in the gear to be centred in the hole left in the cover when removed the rubber bung. Changing the timing is as normal for many cars. Loosening the distributer and rotating it with my hand while the engine is running and the timing light on. Be careful as the fan can come on as the motor heats up. Also if you have a ignition leak you could be in for a shock 8-). Should be done at idling speed around 800 RPM

Having tried adjusting both sides of the centered position for the hole centering gave the best result. Dont forget to remove the paper clip at the end and tighten up the distributor again!

In summary:

1)Jumper computer to stop auto advance.

2)Hole in cam cover-Center small hole in cam gear with hole in cover using timing light and rotating loosened distributor.

3)Unjumper computer and re-tighten distributor. Replace bung in cover.

Maybe its similar on a Rocky model? Maybe you will have to work out what variations there are to this on your model from first principals the way I did.
