if u mean for the timming belt i would sugjest taking it to an expirienced mecanic if you do it wrong it will total your car
No, the check engine light means there is a problem with the emissions system. The maintenance required light means something like an oil change needs to be done.
Get a manual on your car and do the job right the first time.
I have a 2008 Hyundai Accent GLS and just had the timing belt and spark plug replacement and 60,000 mile transmission svc done at the same time. It took just over 3 hours at the Hyundai dealer.
It could be have a restriction in the gas vapor purge system.
You need to switch off the stereo and then you can use the buttons next to the clock to change the time. this also changes the time on the stereo.
i have tried napa, advanced auto parts, auto zone, battery warehouse, noone had a battery for my 2007 Hyundai accent but CARQUEST did have it and said it is a newer and rare battery at this time ....1/4/2010
Reset time on the clock is 1 PM. Just disconnect and reconnect the batttery at 1 PM.
Have vehicle scanned to determine problem -- most auto parts stores will do this free. The light blinking (as opposed to being on solid) indicates a serious problem (such as a misfire) that could lead to damage to the engine if it is run for an extended amount of time in this condition.
you dont because it has no distributor, it has a computer controlled ignition system, the only way you could do it would be to put a resistor in the engine air temp signal wire which would make the pcm adjust spark timing for hotter air, which you should not do!
Similar problem years ago in and American car was a ground strap connecting the car body to the engine. It was loose. Bad ground just made the lamps brighter causing eventual burnout of lamps. Took a long time to find the cause. Hope this helps
dead battery or charging system failure.
1995 and before, you pull out the top. 1996 and later the engine and transmission come out the bottom at the same time.
