If its a 3.5 tdc mark on the crank with the one on the block and if you make sure you press the tensioner pin down with like a vise and put a very small Allen wrench through it I did not have a vise I just got it together and slowley altered back until it just tightens all up and the drivers side camshaft will break your finger if you turn it to far it will grab and rotate under its own power have no clue why I used a wrench and wedge it plus it doesn't have to be right in the middle of the dots just in them mine were off between and shes made about 4000 highway miles good luck
