Don't tow it in park. You can remove linkage & shift to neutral from underneath or remove driveshaft by removing straps off of rear u joint.
Bent shift linkage or you are parking on a hill.
I had the same problem with my 2000 Protege in a grocery store parking lot in a bad neighborhood at 10pm one night. My steering wheel was turned too far to one side, and the car refused to move until I was able to wiggle the wheel out of that position. Now I always make sure that my steering wheel is centered and my front wheels are facing straight forward when I park.
I have been told that is a sign of a problem with your torque converter.
Start with checking the fuses.
Does it have to be a 1995 mazda? Well,it's pretty simple-smash a window and get the rest right.
The steering wheel should be locked when the car is in park. Move the steering wheel a bit then see if the key turns.
You call a tow truck and they will lift the front wheels
The majority of time if you adjust the rear brakes it will adjust the park brake.

In the event the Audi A3 is stuck in park:
I'm assuming by park brake you're talking about the emergency brake system, there is usually a 'pin' type setup underneath the vehicle where the brake handle is above it which can be pulled out that will 'release' the brake. Have a look under it.
