A seed is a client (a person) that has a complete copy of whatever torrent you`re downloading. Once your torrent is done downloading it will remain open until you close it (This is known as being a seed or seeding). Lots of seeds = Faster downloads! So keep seeding !!! You can take a look at my blog for a complete explanation of torrents www.1001lostlinks.blogspot.com
You can download the .torrent file without a download manager or bittorrent client. However, the .torrent file is only a small text file with information on specific content. When the torrent file is opened in a bittorrent client transfer of that content begins. Assuming you want to download the content associated with the torrent, you need a bittorrent client to do so. The newest (Beta) Opera web browser has a .torrent client built in.
A torrent is a small text file associated with specific content. When the torrent is opened in a bittorrent client, it sets up communications so that transfer of the associated content begins. isoHunt is a torrent search site. People search for content they want there and when they find the content they want, they download the torrent associated with the content to open in their bittorrent client. uTorrent is a bittorrent client which is used to open the torrent files and begin transfer of the associated content.
If you mean a bitTorrent client (e.g. Azureus or uTorrent), you can't.
The only reason torrent files work is because people seed them. The files you download with torrent software actually come straight from other peoples' computers, not from an internet server. When people seed a torrent, they allow the files to be copied from their computer onto the computers that they're seeding to. I've never seen a torrent client that didn't automatically seed. As long as you don't delete the files downloaded, you keep the torrent client open and you don't tell the client not to seed, you will automatically seed. It's considered internet etiquette to seed, as a thanks to the uploader of the torrent file, and so others can get good speeds when downloading.
A torrent client is an application which allows you to download files using a torrent. There is a lot of free client software available, the most popular being BitTorrent.

You can try JSTorrent, which is a popular Torrent client.
uTorrent is a BitTorrent client (and for the sake of this question I'm going to assume the usage of it is legal), it's function is to take .torrent files and use them to fetch files of whatever it is you are torrenting from the seeding machines. It is not, in itself, a game client. You cannot 'save PC games' from it.
