I once had this, It'sabsolutely horrible but other than go to a Doctor and get some antibiotics get into your bed and have a cup of water beside rest or sleep, watch a little TV and or read get some liquid home medicine like Tylenol droplets because if your salivary gland are swollen or anything like that you would not be able to open your mouth wide or swallow as easily as you normally think you do. So also suck on something sour like lemon is perfect or sour candy's like sour head extreme do not have to many sour things or to much lemon or else not only will you have swollen salivary glands but a sour tongue. Also have a pack ice to where it hurts and DO NOT make to sleep all day or rest all day it is important you move around alot other than that go see a doctor this case maybe much worse than it seems and in case your wandering this case is not contagious especially to baby's .
