Always treat the customer the same way you'd want to be treated by a sales associate from another store. You'd expect respect, quality service, and a fair price. The customer is always right within reason, and therefore always apologize for something you could or could not have done better (for what ever the reason may be).

Lastly, remember that the more your customer buys - the more the store takes in. The more the store takes in - the more hours you receive. Your goal is to sell, sell, sell, but always keep the customer feeling comfortable enough to call your business home.
