Assuming the blower motor is working but the heat is poor, run the engine up to operating temperature, leave the engine running, heater on, in park with parking brake set. Get out and open the hood. Locate the heater hoses going to and from the heater. Using your hands feel each heater hose one at a time. If one hose is hot and the other is cool or warm, you probably have a plugged heater core. If both hoses are only warm, you may have a faulty thermostat. If both hoses are hot, you may have a malfunctioning temp blend door. If the car has a cabin filter be sure to check it or change it, it may be plugged up with debris.
