fist u have to take it to a shop or if u know someone with a computer like a (snap on) and u gotta go threw the steps and it will let u edit all of it like fuel ratio air flow throtel reponse...ect
Either 1 of 2 ways. You can probably buy a programmer which sets a new map on the ecu. Or you can take the car to a tuner to either open source tune or tune your car and save a map on a programmer. Hope that helps. :)
An ECU will require a proper tuning computer system. There a several available on the market. Then the car will require a DYNO test to allow the engine's turbo to be calibrated according to the response of the engine. This allows for the best fuel, air, and spark readings.
Assuming you mean the engine ECU, the answer is no
There is not a single ECU sensor. There are dozens of sensors on this car that feed the ECU
Depending on what part of the ecu is bad, yes.
An ecu for this car would cost about $120
It varies from car to car, need more info.
No.
No. ECU generally stands for Engine Control Unit, i.e. the brain or nerve centre for engine. Without it - no go. With that said, not all cars have an ECU. An older car with a carburetor, old-fashioned distributor and all that will run quite happily entirely without anything even remotely similar to an ECU. A Diesel car may not have an ECU etc etc.
