Spark plugs, spark plug wires, throttle body cleaning / decarbonization and fuel filter would be a complete tune up on your car.
Perform a tune-up, check tire pressure, check transmission condition, change fluids, pull computer codes. An O2 sensor may be out causing a rich fuel mixture.

If your talking about your blower motor for your cabin air system, they are usually located on the passenger side near the bottom of dash up towards the front.
If its a manual, it will bolt up and function, but not properly. If its an automatic, it will bolt up and not function at all.
Tune-up?
On top of the transmission, just under the battery.
Check your coolant level
Most likely bc a valve broke and hit a cylinder which then pushed the hydraulic lifter up breaking the rocker arm
Pick up a Haynes repair manual for the vehicle. They have wiring schematics in them.
A tune-up for a 2000 Ford Taurus is anywhere from $175, to $230
It will draw it in from the overflow tank when it is needed. Fill that up to the proper line.
