To turn off the ABS light on a 1996-1999 deville you would need to check to make sure that all of your abs sensors are plugged into the back of your bearing assemblys on the wheels. if they are then the abs sensors are bad and you would need to get those replaced. $120 new, $15 used. Alot of gm cars use the same bearing assembly so check at the junk yards for more than a Cadillac.
There are about 30 different sensors which monitor emission control systems components. It could be any one of them. Have a dealer run a diagnostic scan.

On all 91-93 Deville cars. remove the glove box unit and it is DIRECTLY above the opening, just to the left of where your dash says "Cadillac" The smaller box toward the drivers side is the Chime module for lights, seat belt, etc. You want the larger black box with A LOT of wires coming out. There will be two 7mm (or 9/32 US) bolts that are a little tricky to get to. Programming is done through the cars computer diagnostic connector under dash. Only cars with the RPO option code AUO in the trunk will have this FACTORY module. A lot of these cars had add on remote / alarm systems since you had to buy a 400 dollar security option package to get this when the cars were new back then.
yes you can

It is important to have diagrams of all the parts and systems in a car. Diagrams for a Cadillac can be found in the maintenance, owners and repair manuals.
the 96 cadillac has a computer and sensors that control the ride of the cadillac you have a senor going out etc.. you can use your dash to tell you what is wrong it gives and stores all codes for each system , you use the warm and cool buttons to navigate thru the system this is what techs use to fix the car it tells them everything and i mean everthing you can overide and disable systems using the buttons on the dash,,

No. 91 octane is the minimum. I notice a huge difference in the way a Cadillac runs on 87. I always put 93 octane in Cadillac Fuel systems.
Cadillac radios are radios designed to be custom-fit and possess vintage looks. The radio systems tend to primarily be in stereo and are listed according to the Cadillac model in question.
