You could locate the hazard light fuse which is located on the drivers side dashboard next to the door. If you put hand between the driver's door and the dashboard there is a panel there. Open it and there are the fuses. Please dont close the door on the hand! Also there is a hazard light relay under the radio (center console) which is accessible via another panel near where the driver right leg usually is while driving.
Pull the hazard light fuse.
no, is not a relay, your Volvo has a little plastic screw under the headlights switchyou can use a tiny flat screwdriver and turn the are 3 positions, one of them keep the lights off, and lights will work only turning the switch. the other positions are for the automatic mode.
put the indicator lights on (either left or right) and turn the hazard lights on and off repeatedly they should both work now if the problem was not fuse related
get the whole care re wired also dont turn on your hazard lights!!!
Check the fuses and it may be the flasher relay as they have 2 try turning the hazard lights on and off a few time as you relay may be stuck.
If the turn signals on a car works but the hazard lights do not there may be a problem with the flasher switch. The flasher is located in the steering column, and a damaged unit can cause the lights to stop working.
Hazard lights are used on a vehicle in an emergency. The driver is supposed to turn the lights on the warn others that their car is experiencing some sort of problem.
