there is a switch that sits on top of the steering column just look between steering wheel
top section and there it sits on the flat section of the column between the levers for wipers and lights
there is a bypass fuse by the firewall, passenger side were you can put a fuse in there to disable fwd
The starter is interchangable between all 1990-1994 Legacies and maybe even up to 1999.

I have an '01 MY02 (Gen III) Liberty (Legacy) that has hill holder :) My 1994 Loyale has it.
My friends just had this problem. There is a switch on the steering column that controls this light. You may have accidentally hit it. As did the people who detailed her car did. Good Luck.

The Switch may be bad. Check the bulbs for the parking lights. Check the fuses / relays for the parking lights.
You don't. Timing is adjusted totally automatically by your ECU.
