If the computer truly is frozen than there is nothing to do but hope you previous save is good enough to continue working with.
I would - just in case it wasn't Photoshop that froze - Use the Task Manager (on a Windows system, don't know how to do it on a Mac) to force all non Photoshop applications and processes to shut down. and then wait a bit to see if things clear up and the application un-freezes.
