Use the key, are you kidding? The central locking system won't work, but you CAN open all of the doors and trunk with the key. If you don't have the key, get to your local BMW dealer and see if you can get a key code from which they will be able to cut you a key. It is an older car, so you may need to take the key code to a locksmith who can also cut the key for you. If this doesn't get you out of your jam, drop me an e-mail @ jayboyskis@mswn.com. I buy old BMW cars that don't run/work properly.
