Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is basically a review of the past games with some new things added. It features Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil, partial of Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. Basically, you are playing the older games again. But this time, you get to hidden scenes that were never seen before. You will see what I mean.
Yawn is the snake boss creature that you fight once or twice (depending on which version of the game you're playing and the actions you make throughout) in the first Resident Evil game, the remake of the first game, and a few times in the Umbrella Chronicles game. Yawn also appears in a few of the arcade-style spinoff games.

The T-virus was created by Umbrella. It was initially made by James Marcus. After it was made, he was killed and William Birkin took over as the main researcher and scientist involved in the virus work. just keep playing story mode
They have released a remake only of the original resident evil for gamecube only. That game can be hard so I recommend playing Resident Evil 4 instead. But if you insist on this game I recommend playing the original PS or DS version of resident evil so you can get the hang of controls.
