Online, you may play with up to three other players, although you cannot play with two local controllers on the same system while online.
So essentially, 4 MAX.

∙ 13y agoThere are only 1 player to play and survive in every Resident Evil game. Resident Evil 5 and Gold Edition has 2 players for the first time. We never had a 2 player multiplayer in a Resident Evil game since its debut in 1996.

∙ 14y agoOnly 1 unless you are playing Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles then you get to play the scenario with two people instead of one. So, you can be Jill while your buddy is Carlos.
