if your truck is used then your not going to be able to, the person that owned the vehicle before you should have written the password down some where. If not then your gonna have to take your truck to a shop and they will have to get a hold of the manufacture and have them reset it for you

If you do not know the security code, you will need to take the car to a GM dealership, and they will have to unlock it for you.
