Photoshop is easy to learn the basics and you can teach yourself from most any basic book about photoshop. At least if you have some knowledge about basic computer use in general.

I suggest starting with a book, cost less than $30 or get one at the library. Then if you have trouble ask specific quetions here as they come up. The question of how to use photoshop is too big to give in one answer here.

Drop the picture to your desktop. Right click and choose photoshop to open the image. Once the image is open in photoshop you can edit it using any of the tools available.

Pictures can also be dragged and dropped into photoshop once photoshop is open, or you can select "Open" from the "File" menu, navigate to the file you want in the browser that pops open, select the file, and click the "open" button.

The same way you use Photoshop on a PC, it's the same program. The only differences are that instead of opening it from a start menu, you can open it from the Dock, and instead of having a menu bar attached to the window, it's located at the top of the screen. Doing a Google search will reveal specific Photoshop tutorials.
