The reason they won't open is it is a security feature. After taking battery out it cuts the power and when you put the new one and gets power again it automatically locks the doors.
It could be a little switch in the door that just needs to be flipped
Are they totally non-functional, or just not functioning from the buttons just ahead of the doors on the door pillar? they wont open
There are 4 buttons on the overhead console that operate the power doors(the 2 sliding doors and the rear hatch and a power button) The 1st button on the left is marked on/off. This button powers the buttons by each of the sliding doors.
The reason why there are locks on the door are in the case of a power outage and security cameras and tills will not be able to function as well as the phone. This makes the store vulnerable to theft and crime.
Usually you can find the switch on the doors themselves. Open the door and look on the part near the latch. Sometimes, there is a switch by the driver if the car has power locks.
i am assuming there power locks anmd windows. blown fuse, disconnected wiring, battery weak, mechanical linkage broken.
It is automatic. The cover locks with the doors and is unlocked when you park provided you do not lock the doors
I would check the wire harness and conectors to the doors because the poswer locks, windows, and mirrors are all conected through that harness.
Doors are manufactured with the cut-outs for locks. The locks may be used to close the store for a criminal investigation. The store is locked during construction and during remodeling.
If the locks have not been changed, 1 key should operate all locks on the vehicle.
Put key in passenger side door lift door handle when turning key. Regards Peter
