Not sure... Cloud is the main person so its so obvious that it is gonna happen.
Video game movies?
They are Doom(R), Resident Evil (trilogy)(R), Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (PG-13), and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (PG-13), and there may be others, but these are the only ones that I know of (there is a Mario movie, but it isn't worth watching).

What is Final Fantasy 8?
Final Fantasy VIII (8) is a PS1 game released by Squaresoft in 1998. It is an RPG (role-playing-game) which follows the adventures of Squall, the protagonist, and his friends/classmates as they fight to defeat an evil sorceress. The plot is hugely in-depth (much to long to write here) and the game play is massive, spanning four PS1 discs. Also released on the PC.OPINIONI personally believe that is is the best Final Fantasy out of them all.

There is no confirmed end date for Resident Evil. We can probably safely assume that it won't be for a few more games (they seem to be trying to carry it on as long as Final Fantasy) because although Resident Evil 6 won't be out for a few more years, fans are already bubbling with ideas for Resident Evil 7.

Who is Firion in Final Fantasy II?
