You need to set up a free account online with dropbox, creating a user name and password. Download app to iPad then sign in with your details. Then you can either view, share or drop in or out your documents. Dropbox needs set up via a computer before you can use it in iPad/iPhone.
Within Itunes you should be able to rename your photos, but I'm not sure you can do it right on the ipad its self.

Make sure the deivce you created the file on has iCloud enabled, and is connected to the internet when the app is running. On the iPad, turn on iCloud for the app you want in Settings. Connect to a WiFi or cell network. The associated file will appear automatically.
