If you are referring to adding subtitles to a video/movie in Windows Movie Maker, click on Titles and Credits and choose: Title on selected clip. Then click Add title.
Check out what title/credit is in the Title Overlay track in your project. There has to be something there if you have an automatic title appearing when saving.
Windows 7 version of Windows Movie Maker is actually an Essentials program called Windows Live Movie Maker. It is a stripped-down version of Windows Movie Maker v2.6. Though it doesn't have all the functionality and features of its predecessor, Windows Live Movie Maker does have Title and Credits, which is where you will find a box to place text into.
You need to change the Animation scheme in Titles and Credits. However, if you are looking to 'Set' the title stationary on the left side of a clip (without animation of any type), it can't be done in Windows Movie Maker.My suggestion is to create a title page/clip (with the title placed as desired) in a graphics application. Then import it into Windows Movie Maker.
To change the credit text color in Windows Movie Maker:> Once you've got your credit text placed, click on change the text font and color> Click the 'A' button below the word Color> A color menu appears. Choose a color, then click Ok.
Click on Titles and Credits.> Choose where to overlay the text> Enter the text in the space provided> Change animation, font, color> Click Add TitleThe overlay will appear on the Title Overlay track in the time-line view of Windows Movie Maker.
I don't believe you are missing the Title Animation option. First, make sure you have the music video and the entire sheet of lyrics.Place your video into the video track of Windows Movie Maker. Increase the frame length and begin adding your lyrics (sentence by sentence) using the Title and Credits feature.Using Windows Movie Maker to create a lyric video is extremely tedious work, but it can be done if you have the patience.
To add a Title page on Windows Movie Maker...In the time-line view of the program;> Click on Tools, Titles and Credits> Choose to place the Title "Before the Selected Clip"> Change color, font and animation in this menu> Click Add Title
You can't do that in Windows Movie Maker. Sorry.
Assuming you are using Windows Live Movie Maker: Simply click on Title (or Credits) from the top menu. Type in the lyrics and choose: Add Title. Drag the text on the Overlay track beneath the music it corresponds to.
Try the following steps to create your credits: Select...Add title after the selected clip. Scroll down and choose...Change the title animation... Select...Scroll / Perspective... or .. typewriter etc Select...Edit the title text... Hope this helps. Regards
