As of version 7.x of MSN Messenger for Mac - Microsoft still does not support video for consumer users with @hotmail, @live, or @msn accounts. Microsoft has demonstrated a beta of Messenger 8 for Mac that WILL include cross-platform video-chat capabilities. It's expected to be released later in 2009. There are alternatives to Messenger such as Adium and amsn that do support video. (See links below)

Btw my girlfriend doesn't have a cam so that video call thing doesn't work for us, we tried but it just shut down on it's own, we also tried using older msn versions and it did work for a while but suddenly not so long ago everytime I try to connect with her it says 'Messenger could not connect you to..' so I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix msn so that I can use my own webcam or is there some other msn like program that allows 1 way webcam?
