you give them a straight up reason that sounds like this. : mother father (or whatever you call them) please let me play the Xbox because i have bought it and no one has used it. i will be the only on playing because i will not go on Xbox live and i will be responsible with it. Oh and if you have used it and they just wont let you play tonight you could be really good and get all of your chores done or something without asking and then when you are done you could show them and they might give you a reward and let you play the xbox. P.S. and anyone who is looking for a reason to play any other console be sure to use a reason similar to this because it always works with my parents no matter what the system is.
