There are great videos available on YouTube going through the set up process step by step, along with reviews and tips. For example, this one about a Sony Bravia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBPNbS38akk

The Vita's web browser does not support Flash and therefore cannot play YouTube videos. At this time there are no plans to have a separate YouTube app made for it. UPDATE: There is now a Youtube app available for the PS Vita, and it looks great on the 5 Inch screen. You can watch videos in HD, but a thing to keep in mind is that the video is being displayed in 720p on a 540p screen, so it is basically a downscaled resolution.
any sony,jvc, or Panasonic
You tube has a copyright policy which states you must own (or have permission) the copyright to videos you post. If someone posts video which Sony owns without permission (a contrevention of the copyright act) Sony can request it's removal in accordance with Youtube's copyright policy. This policy also applies if you make a home video that has copyrighted content in the background.

There was once a lot of copyright issues with music videos being put on YouTube and at one point the site stopped people from uploading videos! Many record companies have now struck deals or are still battling. VEVO is owned by Sony Entertainment and is their way of getting music videos by their artists on YouTube legally.
