Everyone desires shiny, white teeth, but bleaching and whitening procedures can be very expensive.
Fortunately there are at-home remedies for getting those pearly whites you want.
Strawberry pulp: Even though they are bright white, the malic acid in strawberries can remove stains on your teeth. Just combine baking soda with strawberry pulp and apply to teeth. Remove after a few minutes and brush as usual. Only use this method once a week or less often to prevent enamel damage.
Peroxide: A great all-natural toothpaste is made by combining baking soda with peroxide. Peroxide can also be used to spot treat teeth stains. Be careful to not swallow any.
Okay this is a little gross but...
Step 1: Get a banana. Make sure it isn't too mushy, yet isn't too green. It has to be just right.
Step 2: Peel it. You need the banana peel, not the banana itself.
Step 3: Rub the inside of the peel on your teeth until it has some kind of gross bananaey stuff on your teeth. Then keep it on for about a minute. Then, you need to rub it off with a paper towel. Then go brush your teeth and floss them.
This will take some patience, but I promise after about 2 weeks it should make a huge difference. Do it every night and please don't give up on this method. If you are allergic to bananas or anything else than don't, DON'T, do this.
That's all. Thanks for reading! :)
I wouLd suggest the 2-hr whitening strips by Crest. They really work, I'm not joking. I used them every week when I was younger (im 17)and I probaly had the whitest teeth in my 9th grade class.
There are several natural remedies that you can try at home to whiten your teeth:
Baking soda and lemon juice: Mix a small amount of baking soda with lemon juice to create a paste. Apply the paste to your teeth and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing.
Apple cider vinegar: Rinse your mouth with a small amount of apple cider vinegar to remove stains and whiten your teeth.
Strawberries: MASH a few strawberries into a paste and brush the paste onto your teeth. The malic acid in strawberries can help to remove surface stains.
Coconut oil: Swish a tablespoon of coconut oil around in your mouth for about 10-20 minutes to remove stains and whiten your teeth. This practice is known as oil pulling.
Banana peels: Rub the inside of a banana peel on your teeth for a few minutes to whiten them.
Orange peels: Rub the inside of an orange peel on your teeth for a few minutes to help remove stains and whiten your teeth.
It's important to note that these remedies may not work as well as professional teeth whitening treatments and may not provide long-lasting results. It's always best to consult with a dentist before trying any at-home teeth whitening remedies.
